"America is the sickest nation in the world and spends the most on health care."
Candidate positionMuch chronic disease, including mental illness, is caused by ultra-processed food and by the old federal "high-carb, lean-meat, low-fat" food pyramid, which RFK Jr. has corrected. The old pyramid was a prescription for diabetes ... more which now appears in children. Big Med has no financial incentive to cure us; rather it makes money by having us take pills and undergo medical procedures. If you have high blood pressure, the doctor should say, "Let's find what's causing your high blood pressure." Instead, the doctor prescribes pills you must take for the rest of your life, which do not cure the disease, and may have bad side effects. Prevent and reverse chronic disease by eating "real food", as our grandparents did. Eat around the edge of the grocery store: full-fat dairy, eggs, red meat, bread without additives (e.g., Trader Joe's Tuscan Pane), fruits, and vegetables. Avoid anything in a box or a bag with a bar code! Avoid anything with the unstable "seed oils" (canola, soybean, sunflower, safflower, ...). You cannot eat most of what's in the grocery store, except maybe at Aldi's, which is removing 44 chemicals from its private-label foods. Whole Foods bans 300+ additives. The above is not medical advice. It is "food for thought"! A lot comes from YouTube. Be skeptical. Everybody is different. I'm a retired computer programmer with no medical credentials, except I'm 77, taking no prescriptions, and feel great.

Real Solutions for Real Problems
Candidate positionIf Democrats win, gas prices will go up again and so will inflation, to combat a global warming crisis for which they have no evidence. Virginia Democrats indexed the state gasoline tax to inflation, so gasoline taxes increase every July 1st. They also force Dominion Energy to buy "carbon credits" from the Regional Greenhouse Gas Inititative (RGGI), which will be a new $550 million tax on Virginia consumers. It's only purpose is to drive up the cost of fossil fuel.
