About FactVote

The internet was a monumental innovation in the spread of information. Never before in history has so much knowledge been so widely accessible. However, for all but the most obsessive researchers, vast amounts of information hold little value unless they are properly organized and consolidated. This principle holds true regardless of category or landscape.

FactVote was therefore created to solve this problem within the political landscape. In essence, this site consolidates official public data from government websites into a single, accessible platform. National and state facts and data, candidate statements and voting records, congressional bills, ballots, presidential actions, and more are all housed under a single roof.

Beyond this, the data is presented not in isolation but relationally. Political actions are paired with relevant national facts and broader context so users can better understand how politicians are reacting to the issues and conditions facing the country. Candidate statements and voting records are mapped to popular issues so users can more easily see how candidates align with their values.

FactVote is dedicated to remaining nonpartisan, transparent, and free, with a singular objective: to provide you with as much clear, easily understandable political data as possible, so you can better understand how your government is serving the nation and make a confident, informed decision at the ballot box.
