Our approach
FactVote works toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as a practical target. This statement is not a claim that every page or linked document currently conforms.
Accessibility measures
FactVote’s design and development practices aim to include:
- semantic page structure and meaningful heading order;
- keyboard-accessible navigation, controls, forms, and visible focus states;
- text alternatives and accessible names for meaningful images and controls;
- readable color contrast, zoom support, and layouts that adapt to smaller screens;
- labels, instructions, and text-based status or error messages for forms; and
- reduced animation when a device requests reduced motion.
Known limitations
Some linked government pages, scanned records, PDFs, campaign websites, maps, charts, and archived third-party materials may not be fully accessible. FactVote does not control external websites, but we welcome reports about barriers in FactVote’s own interface and will look for an accessible alternative when practical.
Accessibility feedback
Email [email protected] with the page URL and a description of the problem. Please do not include sensitive personal information. FactVote aims to acknowledge accessibility reports and evaluate reasonable ways to provide access or correct the barrier.
