Health care

Candidate position

When I was diagnosed with cancer, the VA took care of me. That is exactly how it should work. Nobody should go without the care they need. I will hold insurance companies accountable, expand rural access, bring prescription drug costs under control, and push for a VA clinic where communities need one.

Housing affordability

Candidate position

Homeownership builds community. You get to know your neighbors. That is a Utah value worth fighting for. I will fight to stop corporations from buying single family homes as investments, protect first-time buyers, and bring housing costs down so the next generation gets their share of the American dream.

Economy, jobs, taxes, and affordability

Candidate position

Working families did not cause this and should not pay for it. I will fight to lower everyday costs, oppose trade policies that punish consumers, and make sure tax dollars go to the people who need them, not the corporations and billionaires who do not.

Energy, water, public lands, and environment

Candidate position

Utah is built on community and stepping in when your neighbor needs it. That means working on the 90% we agree on instead of fighting over the 10% we don't. It means affordable childcare for single parents and families, defending dignity for working families and seniors so nobody lives in poverty or goes without healthcare they can afford, supporting our farmers and ranchers, and fighting to keep our public lands in public hands. Utah deserves someone who will listen, someone who has not just heard about your struggles, but who has lived them.

My benefits and healthcare as a veteran exist because working families pay for them. Those families deserve someone in Congress fighting just as hard for them as they fight for us.
