ANSWERING TO YOU, NOT WASHINGTON

Source-published biography

Ndidiamaka Okpareke (you can call her “Didi” for short!) was born from immigrants who came to the United States from Nigeria in search of the American Dream after surviving the destructive and genocidal Biafran war in Nigeria from 1967 to 1970. Didi’s parents instilled in her the values of hard work, family, community, and faith in God. New Mexico has been Didi’s home for almost 30 years. She’s lived in Albuquerque since 1997, attending Sandia High School and graduating UNM as a proud Lobo!
