About Doug Lloyd

Candidate position

For the past 30 years, I have dedicated my career to the pursuit of justice, first as a front-line prosecutor, then as Eaton County’s chief law enforcement officer, and always as a public servant committed to protecting both public safety and fairness under the law. My record includes prosecuting and securing convictions in some of our community’s most serious cases, including murder, rape, armed robbery, and large-scale drug trafficking, and even securing prosecutions of elected officials and individuals committing ballot theft. At the same time, I have worked to strengthen our justice system by building a nationally recognized Economic Crimes Unit and expanding access to innovative specialty courts that give deserving offenders a second chance while still holding them accountable.
