I’m Bobby Charles, and I’m running for Governor of Maine because I believe we can do better, safer streets, lower taxes, stronger schools, and a government that works for you, not against you.I grew up in Wayne, Maine. My mother was a public school teacher. From her, and from the World War II veterans who mentored me, I learned about sacrifice, service, and what it means to be part of something bigger than yourself. Those values carried me from Maranacook High School to Dartmouth, Oxford, and Columbia Law, not to leave Maine behind, but to return better prepared to serve it.
