Juan C. Luengo

Juan believes leadership is measured by service. He is a champion for small businesses — particularly minority- and women-owned enterprises (MBE and WBE) — helping them grow, compete, and create jobs across Kansas. He volunteers with the Turner School of Construction Management, teaching best practices in liability protection, loss control, and bonding to the next generation of builders and entrepreneurs. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Juan connects directly with the communities he serves and is committed to making the Treasurer's office accessible to every Kansan.

Kansans deserve a Treasurer who understands money the way they do — someone who has met a payroll, managed risk, invested wisely, partnered with banks and credit unions, balanced the books, and protected other people's money as if it were his own. Juan C Luengo brings the financial expertise, the business discipline, and the servant's heart to guard every taxpayer dollar and put the people of Kansas first. Where the Treasurer's office has too often been a place where money simply passes through, Juan will make it a place where Kansas plans ahead.
