I was about 8 months into a very high risk pregnancy that happened to be life threatening for both myself and my baby. I desperately needed my husband here to support me. We were in the middle of the immigration process and were seeking an expedite approval from the embassy. We contacted the Office of Congressman Brad Schneider for assistance and they took action immediately. As a result of the Congressman's inquiry into our case, our expedite was approved. Although our expedite was approved, the embassy didn't schedule our visa interview appointment, which delayed our case and the possibility of my husband coming home in time for the birth of our baby. We followed back up with the Congressman's office and they quickly intervened. My husband received his visa interview appointment right away and was able to come home within weeks. Our experience with the Congressman's office was exceptional! The staff was supportive, encouraging, friendly, professional, and diligent. They made us feel like a priority and they showed us that our family matters. We are forever grateful! - Britney G. in Fox Lake

Every numbered U.S. House roll call published by the Clerk during the configured service window is reconciled through the member's exact Bioguide ID. Clerk XML through 2002 does not publish Bioguide IDs, so those rows require a candidate-specific official House identity and service bridge plus one unique exact published-name, party, and state tuple. A published roll without an identity-safe row is retained as an explicit source omission and is not labeled as a vote or absence. Voice votes and other actions without member-level roll calls are outside this archive.
Official filings may be amended after publication.
