Labor Union Organizer

Inland Empire and UCLA

Source-published biography

At UCLA, Sam watched his classmates struggle with fee increases – and hasn’t stopped seeing students struggle with them since. UCLA taught him about Prop 13’s loopholes – which inadvertently starve our communities and state of funding for public services and makes every public workers’ contract, every student’s term, and every teacher’s new year a struggle. That’s why he’s running for the Board Of Equalization, the only elected state tax commission in the US – to put schools and communities first and reinvest our money for the many, not the few.

Statement coverage and source review

Not published

Reason: PRIMARY_CAMPAIGN_REVIEW_COMPLETE_FOR_LISTED_PAGES_WIDER_SOURCE_SEARCH_PENDING

Reviewed the complete campaign homepage, biography and all four detailed issue sections, including previously omitted assessor oversight, performance reporting and split-roll language. Replaced generic headings, dangling introduction fragments, duplicated slogans and a contact-form invitation with concise attributed cards. The full captured page preserves the detail behind the brief excerpts. Generic descriptions of the Board’s duties and externally quoted mission language are not separate candidate positions. The general guide explicitly has no Sukaton statement; no primary statement section was found. No policy is inferred from either omission. Fiscal totals, claimed advocacy outcomes and legal descriptions are not independently verified. Social channels, recordings, historical statements and further primary-source discovery remain pending.
